Make room for your day
Bring the crew.
Carry the equipment.
The right cab and bed can matter as much as the engine. Think about who rides with you, what stays in the truck and where you park at the end of the day.
Choose your cab
Regular Cab, SuperCab or Crew Cab. Compare rear-seat access, passenger space and storage. Eligible bench-seat configurations accommodate up to six.
Choose your bed
6¾-foot or 8-foot options. Availability depends on the series and cab. Account for tools, cargo and clearance around a fifth-wheel or gooseneck trailer.
Cab, seating and bed combinations vary by trim and series. A longer bed or more powerful engine does not automatically mean more usable payload.
02 / Make it your own
The packages,
made simple.
Start with the job you need the truck to do. Add comfort, appearance and off-road equipment around that purpose.
For the trailer you own
5th Wheel / Gooseneck Prep
Look for factory hitch preparation when your trailer connects through the bed.
- Available on eligible pickup configurations
- Confirm the compatible hitch and its rating
- Check bed clearance and loaded trailer pin weight
For the route beyond pavement
Tremor Off-Road Package
Available off-road equipment for eligible F-250 and F-350 pickups.
- A package offered with select trims
- Specific cab, drivetrain and engine requirements
- Compare its equipment against your hauling needs
STX, Chrome & Black Appearance
These packages change the truck’s visual character. XL offers STX Appearance or XL Chrome, while eligible higher trims offer their own Chrome or Black Appearance choices. Compare the actual wheels, grille, bumpers and equipment on the window sticker.
FX4 & XL Off-Road
These are additional off-road package choices for eligible trucks. Compare them with Tremor after selecting your cab, engine and load requirements; package compatibility varies.
Lariat Premium & Ultimate
Lariat offers packages that add convenience and technology. Ford lists features such as additional driver assistance and trailer aids with Lariat Premium. Check the exact package and vehicle for the included equipment.
Platinum Plus
Available on Platinum, this package adds its own exterior details and Smoked Truffle premium leather seating surfaces. It is an upgrade to Platinum, rather than another trim in the lineup.
Package highlights only. Availability and combinations can change during the model year. Confirm all required equipment against the selected truck’s factory window sticker.
03 / Under the hood
Power for the way
you put it to work.
Four V8 choices across the lineup, each paired with a 10-speed automatic. Start with the load, then choose the engine and configuration.
6.8L V8
405 hp¹
445 lb-ft of torque¹
The starting gas engine on eligible XL, XLT and Lariat pickups. Consider your loaded trailer and cargo needs before choosing an engine upgrade.
7.3L V8
430 hp¹
485 lb-ft of torque¹
A larger gas V8, standard on F-250 and F-350 King Ranch and Platinum. Available on other eligible trims.
6.7L turbo diesel V8
475 hp¹
1,050 lb-ft of torque¹
Available on F-250 and F-350; the standard engine in F-450 pickups. Compare purchase price, maintenance needs and the work you expect it to do.
6.7L High Output V8
500 hp¹
1,200 lb-ft of torque¹
The available engine with the lineup’s highest output. Pair it with the right axle, hitch and configuration for your towing requirements.
¹ Ford-published maximum engine output. Horsepower and torque are separate measurements and may not be achieved simultaneously. Engine availability depends on series and trim.
Towing: use the right number.
The lineup reaches up to 40,000 lbs of gooseneck towing in a properly equipped F-450 with the High Output diesel and required 40K Gooseneck Tow Package. Conventional and fifth-wheel ratings differ. Use the exact truck’s engine, axle, cab, drivetrain and equipment to find your limit.
Payload: account for everything.
The separate 8,000-lb maximum payload applies to a properly equipped configuration with the 6.8L gas V8. Your truck’s actual allowance must cover passengers, cargo, accessories and trailer tongue or pin weight. Read its loading label and all applicable ratings.

Your space inside.
From a straightforward work cabin to leather seating and premium audio, choose the details that make a long day easier.
Ford Lariat interior imagery. Optional equipment may be shown; materials and displays vary by configuration.
Your controls, close by.
SYNC 4 brings an 8-inch touchscreen on XL and XLT, with a 12-inch screen available on XLT and standard from Lariat. Try the layout and phone connection during your visit.
Find your comfort level.
Compare vinyl, cloth and premium seating materials. Depending on trim, look for heating, ventilation, power adjustments and available Max Recline front seats.
Equipment with a purpose.
Available Pro Power Onboard supplies up to 2 kW for compatible equipment. Camera and trailer-assist options can help you see around the truck and manage your trailer.
Driver-assist features supplement your attention and judgment; they do not make the truck autonomous. Follow the Owner’s Manual, equipment ratings and operating limits. Connected services may require activation, compatible devices, coverage and paid plans.
Before you choose
Bring your real work
to the conversation.
Start with your load
Bring your trailer’s loaded weight, expected tongue or pin weight, passenger count and cargo estimate. Those details help narrow the truck before you compare trim finishes.
Try your everyday routine
Check cab access, seating, visibility and parking. Ask to see the bed, hitch preparation and cameras you will actually use, and confirm your must-haves on the window sticker.
05 / Good questions
A few things
worth knowing.
Still deciding? Our Price Ford of Turlock team can help you talk through the differences.
Ask about a specific Super DutyWhat is the difference between F-250, F-350 and F-450?
F-250 uses single rear wheels. F-350 offers single or dual rear wheels, while F-450 pickups use dual rear wheels and diesel power. Start with your loaded trailer, cargo and passenger requirements, then compare the specific truck’s ratings. A series badge alone does not tell you its usable capacity.
Should I choose gas or diesel?
Match the truck to how often you tow, the weight you carry and your ownership costs. Super Duty offers two gas V8s and two Power Stroke diesel choices. The right decision comes from comparing actual configurations and your routine, rather than assuming the highest-output engine is necessary.
Can every Super Duty tow 40,000 pounds?
No. Ford’s 40,000-pound figure is a maximum gooseneck rating for a properly equipped F-450 with the High Output diesel and required 40K Gooseneck Tow Package. It is not a conventional hitch rating. Use Ford’s towing tables and the selected truck’s configuration to check your limit.
What counts toward payload?
People, cargo, added accessories and trailer tongue or pin weight all use available payload. Read the specific truck’s Tire and Loading Information label, and also stay within its axle, tire, hitch and combined-weight limits. The lineup’s maximum payload and maximum towing figures describe different configurations.
Is Tremor a separate Super Duty trim?
Tremor is an available off-road package on eligible F-250 and F-350 configurations. It is not a sixth trim alongside XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch and Platinum. Verify its cab, drivetrain, engine and equipment requirements on the exact truck.
Which cab and bed should I choose?
The lineup offers Regular Cab, SuperCab and Crew Cab layouts, with 6¾-foot or 8-foot beds depending on configuration. Eligible bench-seat layouts can seat up to six; front bucket seats change that count. Bring your passengers, gear measurements and trailer-clearance requirements when comparing trucks.
What is Platinum Plus?
Platinum Plus is an optional package for Platinum, adding distinct premium interior materials and exterior details. It is a package rather than a separate trim. Review the actual window sticker to see which features are included and which were ordered separately.
What can the trailer-assist features do?
Available equipment can help with camera views, hitch alignment, reversing and estimating the load. Features such as Pro Trailer Hitch Assist, Pro Trailer Backup Assist and Onboard Scales depend on equipment and have operating limits. They do not replace checking ratings or staying responsible for the truck and trailer.
